I was so pleased to find such a friendly café that I could go to for lunch. There are always vegan options, including my regular - the Red Zeppelin sandwich (a red lentil paste, along similar lines to a lentil hummus, with olives and rocket), which tastes great. The food is good value for money and they're clearly using decent quality ingredients, with local products showcased inside and on the menu. Try the vegan chocolate brownie if they have them, they're deliciously light. Food is available "to go" as well as to eat in.
Angie, the owner, and her staff are always pleasant, service is fast and they're certain about what is/isn't vegan (which can be a problem elsewhere).
At the moment, there is a lot of scaffolding outside the café so it's easy to miss, but it's pretty close to the Cornerstone Community Centre (a converted church) that you definitely can't miss!
