Stopped into Purezza on the off chance while we were exploring Kemptown, having previously seen it as an option for vegan pizza. In Brighton, you're relatively spoilt for vegan pizza options if you're prepared to takeaway, but rather more limited when looking for somewhere to eat in. Purezza has plenty of space and has a light and airy feel to it. Tables can be booked, but we were lucky enough to get away without booking one. Takeaway is also available.
Unlike other pizza places in Brighton, Purezza is entirely vegan, which is always a plus. It also means they have a lot more choice on their menu rather than the usual vegan section. I think because all of the pizzas are vegan, they've been more thoughtful about their choice of toppings, the quality of the sauce and the amount of vegan cheese used. I've sometimes felt that other places overdo it with vegan cheese and swamp the flavours - not the case here; Purezza do the best vegan pizzas in Brighton. The pizzas came soon after we ordered and were offered with a choice of oils, including olive oil and garlic infused oil. There was also a good choice of drinks, including vegan wines and beers.
