We've visited again a few times now and had a chance to try some of the other things on the menu.
The loaded fries are great, my favourite are the Fritz Fries - sauerkraut, curry sauce, yum! I've also tried the chilli cheese fries, which were really tasty but rather rich. Between us, I think we've managed to try most of the loaded fries and we've enjoyed them all so far.
We tried the seitan doner as well. The consensus view is that we prefer the "Meat 'N' Chips" to "Beelzebab" pitta, but again both good.
This pub has a really good atmosphere (if you can get past the exaggerated shabby look). For vegans, it's great with the food from Beelzebab and the labels on the beers that were vegan (I wasn't paying attention to the other alcohol, but I presume this was also marked). We had the "Krautwerk" hot dogs (tofu dog, sauerkraut, gherkin, onion, mustard and ketchup), which were tasty. The food is simple and the service relatively fast, which is exactly what you want in a pub. We've yet to try the kebabs, but no doubt another visit soon! Non-vegans with you won't be disappointed!
